Tybalt is a teenage boy who lives in London. Because of his unusual medieval name, Tybalt gets bullied at school. One day he falls asleep and has a very weird dream. He dreams that he is in the Middle Ages, and when he wakes up he actually IS in the Middle Ages. In a while Tybalt gets hungry and decides to steal an apple from a shop because he has no money. The shopkeeper - a young girl called Peronell - sees that and calls the guards. Tybalt is sent to prison. Peronell can't sleep that night because she starts to think about Tybalt's way of acting and talking. She decides to rescue the boy from the prison to find out his secret. During their journey to a place where they would be safer, Tybalt tells Peronell his story and they fall in love. One night when they fall asleep, Tybalt time-travels back to the present. When Peronell wakes up, she can't find him anywhere and thinks that Tybalt has just walked away from her.

They meet, fall in love but they have to go back to reality.
Alice is enjoying her holidays in Sweden with her best friend. They take long skiing trips every day and after that relax in a spa. On their third day there, they take a wrong turn somewhere and can't find their way back. They are lost in a huge forest in the middle of the snow. Just when they are getting too desperate, they hear voices coming towards them.
Nick is a Swedish guy who loves winter breaks as it involves skiing in the forests he and his friends know so well. By a lucky coincident, Nick and his friends happen to be skiing in the same forest the girls have got lost in.
Nick (and his friends) help Alice (and her best friend) back to the skiing resort and they fall in love. They spend the best week together before Alice has to return to her home. To her perfect boyfriend who doesn't seem to be so perfect anymore.
The school year ends. Alice can't stop thinking about Nick. She makes a decision to go back to Sweden. She knows it's not possible that Nick would feel the same way she does. She travels straight to the town Nick lives in, finds his house and knocks on the door. Nick's not at home, but his mother allows her to wait for him. When he gets home, he has another girl with him. As Alice sees that, she runs out and back to the resort.
It's not a happy ending... or is it?
