Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Michelle Seyfried is a 25-year-old actress and a songwriter. She was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, the USA. Amanda is best known for her roles in "Mamma Mia!", "Dear John" and "Letters to Juliet". She is a trained singer. She worked with a Broadway voice coach for almost five years and spent two years training in classical opera. Amanda wanted to be an actress at the age of 10 after she had watched Romeo and Juliet with her father.
Amanda began her career as a child model at the age of 11. When she was 15, she began her career as an actress, starting off with uncredited roles and going on to have recurring roles on "As the World Turns" and "All My Children", which expanded into her television and film career. Seyfried made her film debut in "Mean Girls" playing Karen Smith.
Her first leading role was in "Mamma Mia!" in 2008. Her musical performance in "Mamma Mia!" was released on the film's soundtrack, for which she recorded five songs. Later in 2010, Seyfried starred in the romantic-comedy film "Letters to Juliet". In 2010, Seyfried received an award and was named "Showest Breakthrough Female Star of The Year" and was nominated for Best Female Performance for her movie "Dear John"
I think that Amanda Seyfried is a really good actress. I saw her for the first time in "Mamma Mia!" and I was really impressed. Amanda just has the sincerity that makes people want to look at her. She always manages to make the character she plays her own but that doesn't mean that her roles are always alike. I think that it is very important for an actor or actress to be able to do that. My favourite film with Amanda Seyfried is probably "Mamma Mia!" because she was just perfect for that role and her singing was wonderful. Amanda Seyfried is one of my favourite actresses and I am really looking forward to her next movies.
