I watched the movie "Dear John" in my English lesson. It is an American romantic movie and it was released on February 5, 2010. It was directed by Lasse Hallstörm. The main characters are played by Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried.

In the beginning of the movie, John Tyree and Savannah Curtis meet and quickly fall in love. Unfortunately, John has to go back to the army. For the next two years they communicate through letters. When John comes back, he sees that Savannah is married to Tim. Soon Tim dies. At the end of the movie, John and Savannah meet and hug.

I personally enjoyed the movie. Firstly, it is interesting to watch, because the movie is full of emotions - it is positive most of the time, but there are also many sad and terrible events. In addition to that, the characters are very different- Savannah is outgoing and friendly, but John is more of a loner, who doesn't show his feelings. It is fascinating to watch two totally different people communicate and fall in love. Secondly, the actors are great; they play the characters very believably. However, I don't like the end of the movie, because it is not clear if they stay together.

In conclusion, I like it. It is a beautiful and heart-warming story about two lovers. I would really recommend that movie, especially to girls and romantic people.
