The movie we watched is a romantic drama-war film starring Channing Tatum (John Tyree) and Amanda Seyfried (Savannah Lynn Curtis). It was released in 2010 and is based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks.
The main characters fall in love and spend a lot of time together. Shortly after they have met and have spent wonderful two weeks together, John has to go back to the army. They promise they will write to each other about everything. Despite the long distance, they manage to keep their love alive.
This movie is about love. Love so big that it can survive in any conditions.
I think it is a very beautiful and lovely movie. It's true that some parts of the story are fairly expected – but then again, there are parts that aren't. It made me think about people who are so far away from their loved ones, because of the war. I would recommend it to people, who would like to see a really good romantic-drama and who are not afraid to weep. I think it's a movie, which is worth seeing and as this quote says, "A life lived in love will never be dull." /Leo Buscaglia/--
